The first being URS they, as I understand it, work for Monsanto by mining the silica rock that is needed for the process of purifying the "elemental phosphorous". A great job that makes me feel like they truly want me to be safe, and I do feel that way after two full days of safety training. I have been asked to fulfill a Utility Laborer position, which as I haven't officially started yet, remains a little hazy as to my actual duties. However, I am excited and ready to start actually working.
The second jobs is with one of my former employers, Wade Clarke, he was extremely kind in offering me a job at his barley processing plant called The Alexander Company, in case things didn't work out with the other jobs which i had already applied for. Even though I did take the job with URS he was still willing to let me come work for him on the weekends so I can get some additional hours this summer. I'm so grateful for his generosity.
Truly things really seemed to have come together for me this summer and I couldn't be happier. With the two jobs I should be working about 55 hours a week so hopefully I will be able to make all of the money necessary for my college tuition and also some money to play with. Can you say dirt bike. YES dirt bike. Well that's the goal anyway we will see.
